Let me explain. If you have a physical condition then you will have a name for it (migraines, for example), and it will have been diagnosed because of certain symptoms (headaches, nausea, etc.). Similarly, if you have a life problem, it too will have a name (financial issues, for instance) plus its associated symptoms (debt, stress, sleepless nights, etc.). But if you look a little deeper, you will find in both cases that there is also a third element – what I call the ‘conflict experience’. This is how it feels within you to be living with the condition or problem, which is reflecting an experience in your life that you don’t want and are therefore in conflict with.
What you’ll discover in the following chapters is that we can heal and achieve almost anything by bringing calm to where there has been conflict.

We have been conditioned to be in a battle with life. To resist anything that doesn’t go our way, show up how we want, meet our high hopes or satisfy our eternal hunger for more, better and improved.
